The power of connection is the topic of this book and Social Communities were how these women connected. Compiler Carla Wynn Hall started the Women's Empowerment Network in 2010 as a way to reach out to women for support as she battled memories of past abuse. Each author and supporter in this anthology series was able to write her story, many for the first time, of how Social Media was a conduit for life transformation.
